We open when the first bake is cool enough to wrap, and close when the shelves are empty.

Late August: closed for two weeks while the flue is relined. The dates go up on the door a month before.

Bramblewick
The lane is too narrow for deliveries after nine, so the van parks at the top by the water trough. The door is the green one between the cobbler and the launderette; there is no sign, only the awning.
Setting bread aside
Ask at the counter a day ahead, or write to us before six in the evening. We hold reserved loaves until noon the next day, then they go back on the shelf.
